Pretty sweet app. that will use song pattern recognition to help you identify and, depending on the match %, propose a list of birds. Although some recordings are of lower quality, they are clear enough. I would have enjoyed a little bit more description for each birds (habitat, food, hibernation, etc.) and allow to search the names in French (french names are in the index). All in all, this is a very good app.

This app is amazing!! I adore it. Showed me we have birds I didnt know were here! So fun!! I love it!!

The app didnt work within 3 m of a very vocal duck.

Helps to identify the many birds that visit our property every spring and summer! Highly recommend! I like that you can record and the app helps to identify which bird it is.

I appreciate quickly looking up a bird and finding its song/call or even identifying it by its song/call.

Sound quality is crappy, no maps, scant info, not all the birds in my region of North America. sorry I spent the money on this app when there are so many free ones that are a whole lot better.

I really like the app and the opportunity to learn more about the songs of Canadian birds. I think this is the future of bird and wildlife guides.

I was looking forward to this app based on the awesome reviews. When I opened the app I automatically noticed the pixels in the formatting. The recordings are also a bit of a pain to work with. I dont feel like this app is worth the 4.99.

This is a nice app. I love how it is specified for just birds of Canada to make classification easier but I think this app is over priced. If it were birds of all North America I could understand the $4.99.

I did not expect this app to be so extensive and informative. Its very good.

Only 26 songs in the database for auto-identification. Recording is very susceptible to noise; e.g. wind, lake waves, kids playing nearby.

Not perfect, and a bit tricky to use, but helpful if you arent a very experienced birdwatcher. Had a lot of fun with it. Did a few mistakes but got it roght as well. Worthwhile and informative.

This is a good app with lots of birds the onliest thing is that your birds songs to be a little louder and to much background noise that even makes the birds sound low

I really this app & would like to see more bird breeds. Would be better if people wouldnt let back ground noises be recorded.

My son bought this phone for me and downloaded this app to identify the birds in my backyard and in the park. It provides lots of information, great photos and you can even record the birds voices and the app tells you what bird it is - Love using it, too.

Found the app while searching for bird songs for my research. It provides lots of interesting data and photos for non-biologists. And then there is the automatic recognition function!

I do quite well in distinguishing birds in the backyard or the forest but I`m not a quarter as good in recognizing birds by their song. So this app is a good improvement for me on the sound side. I’m surprised that it works so well.

I always dreamed of an app for the automatic recognition of bird songs. I have to say that the automatic recognition of this app actually works pretty well. Automatic recognition of bird songs and other animals’ voices should be a feature of all state of the art wildlife guides.
